The Radisson Hotel Group has opened the all-inclusive Radisson Blu Resort & Residence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
The beachfront property spans 164 suites. Select suites have fully equipped kitchens, laundry facilities, balconies or a private hot tub.
In addition to 24-hour room service, guests have access to five restaurants that offer a varied mix of Caribbean, Italian and Asian fusion cuisine, as well as a juice bar, a lobby bar, a pool bar and a deli. The RBG Bar & Grill is a beachfront venue and offers live entertainment.
Most of the islands have reopened to international tourism, with protocols to protect visitors and residents from Covid-19.
Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, spa and hair salon, and an indoor and outdoor fitness center.
According to Frances Gonzalez, Vice President of Operations for the Radisson Hotel Group for Latin America, the Punta Cana Resort “creates the conditions for the Radisson Blu brand to grow in top Caribbean destinations”.
The Radisson Hotel Group plans to open the new Radisson Blu Aruba in the first quarter of next year. A Radisson Blu Resort in Grenada is also in preparation.
