Travel Advisors Selling the Caribbean (TASC) is partnering with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) commission to host a virtual Caribbean travel exhibition on June 17th.
The online event will “underscore the urgent need for a regional focus to drive economic growth and innovation” while introducing Caribbean travel segments such as destinations, resorts, attractions, airlines and cruise lines.
The one-day virtual conference is dedicated to the topic of “From Survival to Sustainability – Future Course for Caribbean Tourism” and offers workshops, further training opportunities, discussion rounds, networking and social events for travel consultants and consumers.
The conference will also include an exhibition hall, networking lounge and auditorium that will host live events and culturally immersive experiences with leading Caribbean travel brands. The agenda includes travel specials from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST and consumer-focused sessions from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“We are very excited about our first showcase and our partnership with the OECS,” said Kelly Fontenelle, founder of TASC. “Together we will focus on rebuilding a more resilient tourism industry in the Caribbean.”
“TASC has a huge North American travel trade network eager to sell the Caribbean again,” said Dr. Didacus Jules, General Director of OECS. “The OECS is pleased to support and support TASC with this virtual Caribbean travel exhibition, which shows the uniqueness of our region during the Caribbean Heritage Month and how visitors can safely experience our environment and culture.”
